Freedom in NL

When we arrived in Rural Newfoundland, we were free – free to have a clothesline ! Clothelines had been prohibited by bylaw in our Ontario neighbourhood. It was felt that people hanging clothing out to dry would decrease property values !

Here, we enjoy drying clothes outside. The fresh salt air and sunshine disinfect clothing and gently bleach whites. And , we rural Newfoundlanders are doing our part to save energy and reduce our carbon footprint.
